Casa Del Tamal. It's the best Mex food I tried out here.
Food I Tried
Gourmandise. Not bad breakfast/lunch place.
Jinjay Ramen. Small place gets really busy but good.
Lucky 13. Very good busy burger place. Small parking lot next to building but bigger lot across busy street.
Momo’s Cheesecake, good small cup cheesecakes around bars in downtown.
The Place Pizza. Neapolitan style pizza. Very good and nearby Camp Williams.
Dessert bar. Unique brick desserts that change every week.
Chubbys burgers, Hawaiian BBQ burger was really good.

7 Brothers. Paniolo burger was great and very filling.
Tsunami Restaurant and Sushi Bar on 9th. Awesome place, great service.
Dolcetti. Good gelato and interior that you have to check out.

Aubergine Kitchen. Healthy food restaurant. Similar to Sweet Green.
Chile-Tepin. Busy Mexican food restaurant but fast service.
Curry Pizza. The best option I tried for Indian food and unlimited rice when dining in.
The Bayou. Great food and interesting drink menu. Get the gumbolaya. Handles groups very well.
Penny Ann’s Breakfast. Pancakes are good and french toast looked like they are very good here. Very busy for breakfast, 40 minute wait usually.
Osteria Amore. Great place to eat near Red Butte Garden. The pizzas were very good. The Italiano Mule was refreshing and worth getting again.
No Name Saloon. Worth visiting or the interior if you’re in the area. Food was fair, burgers made with bison.
Log Haven. Great for a date night or special occasion. Food was great and dessert was even better. Scenic drive and there’s a waterfall across the street you can see from inside the restaurant which is great for pictures. Need to pay per vehicle to get into the area.
Casa del Tamal. Very good Mexican restaurant in West Valley, better than Chile-Tepin. Huge portions and one of the best Tres Leches cakes I had.
Cupbop. Nobody liked what they had from here.
Tokyo Tower. Good spot, very unique interior. The tempura rolls were great, especially the Tower roll.
Sol Agave. Very good Mexican food. Gets crazy busy on weekends.
Haku Ramen. Small shop with limited options of ramen.
Seoul Meat Co. Korean BBQ/Hot Pot all you can eat for under $50 per person. Unlimited sides. It was a solid 4 out of 5.

Things I Did
Loveland Aquarium. Not bad, can see everything in about 1.5hrs. Worth the money. Didn’t do the virtual experience.
Quarters Arcade Bar. Classic videogames and good drinks. Leave the jacket in the car as it gets hot. Live music starts at 9pm.
Visited State capitol building and surrounding parks. Lots of walking and things to see. Very nice interior and the lower dog park area is scenic.
Real Salt Lake Soccer Games. Sometime offer deals, 3 goals = free haircut from Great Clips.
Red Butte Garden. Paid $12 for entry, parking wasn’t an issue. Plenty to see if the flowers are blooming. Trails that lead up into the mountains.
Hill Aerospace Museum. Awesome museum and completely free! A must see. Gift shop is great.
Great Salt Lake. Went at a bad time(May). There were literally clouds of biting gnats. The park ranger said that after two days of 90 degree weather the gnats die off so it’s best to come after then.
The Depot, ‘Electric Feels’ Kilby after party event. Great music by DJ Mike.
Park City. Walked around town. Parking is max of 3 hours. $1 per hr. The trolley that loops around town is free. Plenty of souvenir shops and insanely expensive art shops around. Basically a busy tourist town or for skiing.
City Creek Center. Huge mall with walking outside for sections of it.
Anime Town or Anime Con. Special events, Anime Town was comparable to Anime Midwest. Worth the visit for a day.
South Town shopping mall. Decent gaming room with pool tables.
Slackwater in Sandy. Pizza was decent. The bread was pretty good with marinara. Very busy and often long wait times of 40 minutes.
